Spicy Garlic Shrimp

  • 24 pieces whole jumbo shrimp with or without heads
  • 1 whole garlic, minced, makes about 3 tbsp
  • 3 limes, juiced, about 3 tbsp
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp chile powder
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp red curry paste
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions


  • Using a colander, wash the shrimp. Drain. Set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the garlic, lime juice, honey, chile powder, red curry paste and salt. Using a fork, mix everything until well blended. Add the shrimp and toss to coat. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • In a wok, over medium high heat, heat oil. Add the shrimp and cook, stirring often, about 7 minutes. Add the cilantro and green onions. Enjoy!
